Phil and Bill's offers any size container of ice cream you would like as long as it is in a pint or quart. Sorry we don't make gigantic tubs of ice cream because we just can't handle that size easily during the freezing and packing process. Besides, our ice cream is so rich that a full gallon would put an elephant into a coma.
For those of you who think that a pint is a huge tankard of beer, it is really 16oz (by volume)....about the size of a pint of ice cream. A quart is a little bigger, 32oz by volume and is a little more than half of the carton of ice cream from the store (but much better).
With enough notice we can make a true 1/2 gallon size container, but it needs a special order and is not ordinarily in stock.
